CTET September 2026 : Eligibility Details

CTET Primary Level Eligibility

• Class 12th Exam Pass & One Of The Following Qualification Required D.El.Ed / JBT / B.El.Ed / D.Ed.

CTET Junior Level Eligibility

• Bachelor's Degree And One Of The Following Qualification Required B.Ed Or B.El.Ed

CTET September 2026 : EXAMINATION CENTRES

• The examination city to the applicants will be allotted by CBSE on random basis

CTET September 2026 : Certificate Validity Period

• The Validity Period of CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be for life time for all categories.
• There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate.
• A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score. 

CTET September 2026 : Qualifying Marks

• As per NCTE Notification No.76-4/2010/NCTE/Acad dated 11.02.2011: A person who scores 60% or more in the TET exam will be considered as TET pass.

• STEP 1: Log on to CTET official web site https://ctet.nic.in or CBSE website https://www.cbse.gov.in
• STEP 2: Go to the link “Apply Online” and open the same.
• STEP 3: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.
• STEP 4: Upload latest Scanned Photograph and Signature
• STEP 5: Pay Examination Fee by debit/credit card and net banking.
• STEP 6: Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.
